You found the API at Careers 4 Net Zero - Supporting undergraduates into a Power related career
Updated: Oct 19
Hello and welcome to the API, where we support and develop the current and future workforce of the power sector.
Part of the work we do is supporting undergraduates interested and currently studying towards a career in the power sector. Here's how we do that:
The API offers a Bursary Scholarship to students undertaking degree level studies in engineering relevant to the power industry at particular Australian universities. Applications for 2024 will open in March. You can express your interest here - https://apiforms.wufoo.com/forms/2024-api-bursary-scholarship-eoi/
You can explore the bright future of careers in the Australian power sector through the eyes of other undergraduate students through our online Students in Power Summit. The API Bursary recipients share their experiences, personal career stories and insights while working at leading employers (API's member organisations).
The TJ Effeney award brings together a national group of over 20 students from across Australia, to attend a national conference. Successful recipients of the award will receive flights, accommodation and registration, as well as a number of activities arranged by the API. This annual award is for students seeking a career path in power, it is an opportunity to grow their knowledge and expand their industry network.
