On 1 September 2026, the Australian Power Institute (API) will launch applications for a range of our flagship programs, including Summer School+, Developing Professionals, Undergraduate PWLP Retreats, Executive Insights, and more.
Whether you're a female university student exploring a future in the energy sector, an early-career professional looking to expand your skills and network, or a professional engineer looking for your next career opportunity, our programs are designed to help you build valuable industry connections and develop the capabilities needed to support Australia's energy future.

How Do I Apply?
The application process will depend on whether your organisation is an API member.
If You Are from an API Member Organisation
Please contact your Learning & Development team or internal program coordinator in the first instance. They will be able to guide you through the application and nomination process for programs available through your organisation.
If you're unsure who to contact, please email programs@api.edu.au and we'll steer you in the right direction.
If You Are Not from an API Member Organisation
Don't worry, you may still be eligible to participate in selected programs.
You can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) or contact our team directly at programs@api.edu.au to discuss available opportunities and application pathways.

Planning to attend one of our programs in 2027? Be sure to take advantage of our early bird pricing, available for selected programs.
Early bird discounts close on 30 November 2026, so we encourage interested participants to review the available opportunities and start discussions with their organisation as early as possible.
