"Conversation Lounge" at EECON 2024 in Sydney with API and EESA

Join us at EECON 2024 and discover more about how the API and EESA are supporting individuals and organisations to develop the 'next generation', and chat with grads and undergrads in our 'Conversation Lounge'.

In the spirit of the conference theme of 'connecting', API and EESA are collaborating to offer a Conversation Lounge at EECON 2024.

The Lounge will provide a focused areas to enable undergraduates and graduates to connect with experienced professionals from across the sector, and to support our members (organisations and individuals) in understanding how the API and EESA are supporting the development of the next generation.

The Lounge builds on the API's success and experience with supporting undergraduate students to attend previous ENA and EECON conferences with our TJ Effeney scholarship (supported by Energy Queensland and the Effeney Family) and other industry conferences.

The API team will be working with reps from EESA's community over the next few months to identify the best information to include in our 'lounge'. If you are interested in learning more, contact David at david.pointing@api.edu.au.

The API team will also be active participants in the conference, sharing our insights on stage about growing diversity in the power sector workforce, and engaging with and inspiring the next generation. In the Lounge we'll be sharing resources to assist industry in having effective conversations with the next generation about careers in power.
