The API team are thrilled to be supporters of the inaugural Careers for Net Zero Fair, the first major event devoted to building Australia's clean economy workforce.
The fair is for all Australians looking to find their role in Australia's clean economy and learn how their skills and knowledge can make a difference.
Free to attend and running alongside All-Energy Australia, the Careers for Net Zero Fair will be launched by the Co-CEO of Atlassian and Chair of Boundless Earth Mike Cannon-Brookes and features a full day of fascinating sessions, expert speakers and an exhibition with representatives from employers and organisations across the clean economy.
If you are or know of people in Melbourne who are interested in learning more about careers supporting Australia's transition to a Net Zero future, they can register here!
The program includes industry leaders discussing: - The critical jobs for achieving an equitable, prosperous and net zero economy; - Overcoming barriers to building a skilled, safe and diverse workforce; and - The role of tech companies, start-ups, banks and others in enabling a clean economy.
The API team will be represented at the Fair by David Pointing and Stephanie Somerville - come and say hi!
The C4NZ Fair is a joint initiative of the Clean Energy Council and Energy Efficiency Council, and proudly supported by Ai Group, the Australian Power Institute, Boundless and Engineers Australia.
The Fair event is linked to a national Careers for Net Zero marketing campaign that will feature 10 roles in the clean energy workforce (1 of these from the API's own community - more on that soon!).
