This free online course shares insights from the Australian Strategic Electric Vehicle Integration Report, a national research project accelerating Australia’s energy transition through collaborative demonstration and research.
The course translates SEVI research into practical learning modules that explore how electric vehicles could integrate with Australia’s electricity system and what this means for planning, engineering and operation of the grid.
Three Real World Demonstration Scenarios
The course explores three nationally significant EV integration demonstrations undertaken across Australia:
Fleet charging depots (NSW)
How government and commercial EV fleets can charge efficiently at depots while integrating with solar and existing network infrastructure.
Residential precincts (WA)
How EV charging, batteries and distributed energy resources can be coordinated within residential communities and microgrids.
Regional tourism and holiday parks (SA)
How charging infrastructure can support long distance EV travel and tourism in regional areas.
