I completed my summer placement experience within the Network Strategy and Investment Planning team. I therefore was heavily involved in transmission network planning with a focus on market modelling. Firstly, I updated the economic models inputs to align with the 2025 Inputs Assumptions and Scenarios Report, published by the Australian Energy Market Operator. Following this, I was then able to analyse the outputs of these models across three main planning scenarios to understand the long-term forecasted conditions of the South Australian transmission network.
