Throughout my placement I worked as an intern engineer in the VIC/SA/TAS Onboarding and Connection team. I conducted grid studies using power system software to ensure that new energy connections comply with their Generator Performance Standards and the National Energy Rules. At AEMO, I have developed my technical skills and been exposed to the entire energy sector and connection application process. I have been fortunate to be involved in many projects over Summer and communicated frequently with all stakeholders involved to resolve issues throughout each project.
