During my placement, I worked on various projects where I could apply my knowledge of civil and structural engineering into real world applications. Mainly, I worked on calculations for change of design philosophy from working stress method to limit state method. Additionally, I also performed structural analysis for equipments such as brackets, crossarms, extension pieces. I also learned how to work collaboratively with other teams and field services and got exposure to professional environment.
