During my placement I had the opportunity to be onboarded onto a large transmission and distribution project Aurecon was involved in which involved the design of transmission lines and substations within a Renewable Energy Zone in regional NSW. I participated in this project in a number of ways but my main involvement was preforming Short Circuit Forces calculations alongside experienced engineers and helping with the final delivery of this specialist engineering report for the client.
