Why I chose a career in power

The 3 key reasons why I'm choosing a power and energy career are...
1) It's an area where I can take sustainable action and help the shift to cleaner alternatives
2) It's an industry with major growth over the next decade; I want to be somewhere exciting where innovative research and problem-solving are happening
3) Learning about the engineering theory behind renewable power generation like hydro and wind is fascinating

Where it all started

Batteries! After researching batteries in an experimental environment I am curious to work with them in real-life projects and see how we are solving the challenges which arise with this new technology
