The best advice that I have is that if you want to do just do it. Don't think too much about it and if its truly what you want to do, you will find away to meet any of the challenges that arise throughout your study and career.

Who am I

I look forward to furthering my understanding of the current power generation and transmission systems and hope to be part of design projects that tackle some issues around switching to renewables. Also, I would love to work with superconductors. Along with that, I am hopeful that a compound will be developed that is a stable superconductor at room temperature.

Why I chose a career in power

The reason that I have chosen a career in the power industry is that I am quite passionate about the transition of energy to renewable sources. Previously, I worked as a predominately domestic electrician for 12 years, then have moved to become an industrial electrician.
