Who am I

I'm a technically minded electrical engineer from Adelaide, Australia, driven by a keen interest in the country's energy transformation. This national shift towards renewable energy is a dynamic and fascinating challenge that I am proud to be a part of. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family as well as having an appreciation for the outdoors, whether I'm hiking, camping or just enjoying nature.

Why I chose a career in power

I chose a career in the power industry because it's a field where I can truly make a difference. The work is fundamentally about helping people and I wanted a job where I could see a direct, positive impact on communities. It's a chance to positively contribute to a modern, functioning society. Beyond that, the technical complexity of the industry is incredibly stimulating. I wanted a career that would challenge me technically every single day, pushing me to learn and innovate.

Where it all started

I studied Electrical Engineering at Flinders University in South Australia, prior to that I completed an electrical apprenticeship and worked as an electrical tradesperson.
