Ryan Turner is a power transmission and distribution leader with more than 20 years of experience across grid connection, high-voltage electrical engineering, power systems, renewable energy, traction power, network planning and energy advisory.

As Power Transmission and Distribution Practice Leader at Aurecon, Ryan brings deep technical and strategic expertise to the planning, design and delivery of energy infrastructure. His work supports the development of reliable, resilient and future-ready networks as Australia’s energy system transitions to a more renewable, decentralised and decarbonised future.

Throughout his career, Ryan has worked across complex transmission and distribution projects, helping clients navigate technical, commercial and system-wide challenges. He is passionate about supporting the growth of the power sector workforce and strengthening the capability needed to deliver Australia’s future energy system.
