About the API:
The Australian Power Institute is a national not for profit focused on developing the power engineering professionals (electrical engineers and others) for Australia.
Established in 2004, the API is funded by ~20 industry organisations and connects with ~20 Australian universities and ~5 other non profit organisations. We are a small team of staff (5-6 people), all working from home in VIC, TAS and QLD, with an operating budget of ~$1.5M per year. Our activities range from inspiring primary school students to supporting experienced industry professionals to connect and share their knowledge.

Undergraduate Programs Manager (Full-time)
The API are seeking an Undergraduate Scholarships Program Manager to lead the delivery of our flagship national scholarship and career development program for university students who are interested in careers in the Australia power (electricity) sector .
This role has a big impact on the development of the future workforce of the Australian power sector, and you’ll work closely with the API CEO, and other API staff and our partner organisations across the power sector.
The role is focused on our university scholarship program that supports 100+ undergrad students each year with a combined investment of approx $1.5M from our industry partners each year, and our broader PowerUP community for ~1000 undergraduate students.

Industry & University Partnerships Manager (Part-time):
The API are seeking a part-time (0.6) Industry & University Partnerships Manager to magnify the impact of the API’s programs across Australia by engaging and building working relationships with the appropriate contacts within the API’s industry members, and university and key stakeholder community. Work days are typically Monday-Wednesday (22.8 hrs/week) or spread Monday - Thursday.
