Who am I

I am a final-year Mechanical Engineering student, deeply passionate about sustainability as a whole, especially in the realm of renewables and electrification.

My main focus right now is my final year project on the future of sustainable aviation fuel in Australia. Outside of university, I like to read, hang out with family and friends, and tinker on small projects. Although I no longer play cricket, I love watching the sport. As a car enthusiast, I also watch a fair bit of motorsport, and enjoy driving and working on my cars.

Why I chose a career in power

I am choosing a career in the power industry because I believe in its pivotal role in decarbonising heavy industries and hard-to-abate sectors. Electrification, by way of the uptake of renewables is essential for this transition, and by working in this field, I aim to directly contribute to the green transition. My goal is to work on major renewable infrastructure projects and promote sustainable practices for a cleaner future.

What's next?

Sales Assistant at Early Settler (Dec 2020 - Dec 2023). As Australia's renewable energy industry burgeons, it's a pivotal time for the energy sector's green transition. This excites me because it is an opportunity to make a difference not only locally but also in the Global South, where sustainable energy solutions are crucial for development and progress.
